Grade 1—Our Heavenly Father
Theme: This course provides an introduction to the Trinity, with emphasis on the life of Jesus, the plan of salvation, and the child’s part in the plan. Acquaints child with Mary, angels and saints. Child learns basic prayers.
Aim: Introduce first-grade students to the Church’s faith regarding the Triune God, the life of Jesus, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the life of prayer, with a special emphasis on growing to know, love, and trust God.
